Overall it is a great phone. Sometimes, when you put it on lock by holding down the back button, and then try to unlock it, it doesn't work. You are supposed to press * then back to unlock it, but sometimes you have to press end. I have done a lot of research on this phone and I have read a lot about it on the internet. My friend has it and she says that hers is everything she wanted (texting mostly.) But I read on the internet that it will freeze up and the screen will turn white.I am stuck between getting this phone or the LG Rumor 2.Hope this helps!!

I'm thinking to get the rant, i have a lg rumor and the screen went black in 5 months.

I had the same thing happen to my rumor after 1 month! I upgraded to the lotus and i love it!! The texting works just as well as it did on the rumor (because of the keyboard), and all of the functions work so much better. Plus i think it looks a little bit neater than the rant. My friend got a rant like two weeks ago and it's really nice. She's had it for like 2 or 3 weeks and it's been fine so far. Not too sure about the lotus. But I know that the rumors are horrible phones. I know like at least 10 people who have them and they've had to get new phones because they all broke.
i just got the lotus as my first cell phone a few weeks ago.
it is an amazingg phone. i havent had any problems with it. its easy to use and the camera is really nice. also its great for texting.
truth is the lotus looks like a square gay looking phone almost all my friends have seen it and they say it looks like crap go 4 the more thumb room Rant i dont have it i have the M320 but the rant looks really cool

How do you zoom in when using the rant camera phone?
how do you zoom pressing up down left or right doesnt work and its not in optionsHow do you zoom in when using the rant camera phone?
Please note that zooming will not function if the resolution is set to 2 m. To zoom, repeatedly press the navigation key left to zoom out and right to zoom in. It may take several presses to get the right zoom! Hope this is sufficient enough!

How do you get pictures off of the computer (aka photobucket.com) onto my Samsung Rant phone?
i've seen allot of people use pictures from the computer on things such as forwarded picture mail. i want to know how they get it on their phone, i have a Samsung Rant and it does have a memory card and picture mail. if anyone can help me i will *greatly* appreciate it. For this, you will need..
-USB Cable
-Memory Card
-Cellular Handset
-Photos
-Computer
1. Download all the photos and keep them in one folder.
2. Connect the phone to computer with USB cable.
(You may need phone drivers from Samsung)
3. Open up My Computer.
4. Find your device and double click it.
5. Find the folder that says something like ';music.';
6. Drag your photos into the folder.
7. Disconnect the phone from USB.
8. You may need to restart your phone.
9. Go into your photos in your phone and you will find them.
