Samsung Rant, Can't receive calls from #'s not stored in phone.?

I have the samsung rant and for some reason I can't receive any calls from numbers not stored in my address book. It won't ring and it won't say I have a missed call.

make sure you update your phone to the last version (they released a new one a few days ago that solved many problems)
