Can you use a Samsung Rant cell phone on the Verizon network even though its normally a sprint phone?

Just curious... I am having a hell of a time with my Samsung Verizon Glyde phone and it looks like the Rant fixes most of my Glyde complaints.Can you use a Samsung Rant cell phone on the Verizon network even though its normally a sprint phone?
No, Verizon unfortunatly doesn't work off sim cards, so its impossible to unlock phones and make them Verizon if they aren't.Can you use a Samsung Rant cell phone on the Verizon network even though its normally a sprint phone?
