We recently bought a new a car (a Ford Flex), that came with Sync. This is great, except the phone I have ( a rumor) does not work with Sync at all. I am getting a new phone in June and I want it to work with Sync. I really don't want to have to get the data plan (an extra $500 a year. Eek!) just to use this feature in my car. The only other requirement is that it has a full keyboard, because I need to be able to text. Ford does have a website that (supposedly) says which phones work but its outdated and therefore innacurate. Does anybody have/know of a phone with a full keyboard that can connect with Microsoft Sync? I'm especially curious about the Lotus, the Rant and the Rumor 2.What Sprint phones can sync up with Sync in a Ford Flex? Specifically, the Lotus, The Rant, and the Rumor 2?

Samsung Rant or LG Rumor. Are they good phones?
I was thinking of getting the Gravity for T-Mobile. BUT since there are no reviews I wanted to see what you think about the Samsung Rant or the LG Rumor because the Gravity is pretty much the same as those phones.

My husband has the rant I had it to for awhile, but it wasnt right for me I'm just dont like slider phones. Anyways its a great phone I have the the lotus its great to. My only suggestion is to stay away from the rumor.

My phone the purple rant just broke :(
Anyway i already have experience with the rant phone and kinda know where the key broad letters are without looking at them. But one of my friend just got the Rumor2 and she has it in blue and i think it looks really pretty :) but noticed how the key broad was different and that it would open up in a different way.
My point of view of the Rumor2 is that i like how the camera looks alot clearer and how it has a option to warp the picture =P
I text alot though, and if i get the Rumor2 it would take me a while to get use to the keys.

She passed on an opportunity to further her career in America and chose to stay here with him. He should have behaved. Ms. King could turn her hand to anything she wants and make a new career tomorrow if she wished. I remember seeing a programme made in her fab kitchen. She made these fantastic cakes decorated with handmade roses. Beautiful. Then she got 4stars for being guest chef in another tv programme. I also heard that she makes tiny rugs, bell-pulls, and other beautiful miniature hand stitched items, suitable for collector's doll houses. So there are just 3 other things she could turn her hand to if she got tired of her showbiz career. She sings a storm too. Saw her sing with Perry Como when she co-hosted his show. She is beautiful. I think she is wasted in Ireland. She would be a multi millionaire if she were in the US.

Check out RadioShack.com, thats where I got ALL of my answers solved. The only cons for this phone is that the battery wears down pretty fast. The games and stuff are amazing, get it if you don't mind charging it every 3 days or so (for continues texters/callers!). The texting is a breeze! I really recomend it. I also think there are some videos on RadioShack.com. Yesterday I went into that store and saw it, its thin! Especially for one that slides to a QWERTY keyboard!

I need some advice... I have the LG Rumor, and it's an awesome phone except it's strictly for texting... The Internet suck, you can't watch videos on youtube, the camera sucks too! So I was thinking about getting the Samsung Instinct, but I can't imagine having to type with a touchscreen, and I can't live without being able to type a novel in 10 seconds! So instead I was going to get the new Samsung Rant (even know it hasn't come out yet) and I need help deciding which phone is better. I've seen reviews for both phones but I can't decide. Which Sprint phone is better? The Rumor or the Rant?
I'm upgrading my current phone and I'm torn between the Rumor by LG and the Rant by Samsung. I did a little research on the sprint website and compared the different features... but I'm still undecided. I would really appreciate some suggestions/opinions, especially those of some people who actually own the phones I'm interested in.

It depends what you are looking for in a phone. The Samsung Rant, well, I personally hate the keyboard because it's hard for me to type on compared to my LG Rumor. Ok, i have a samsung rant and im tired of it. It does lag and freeze some which i think is good grounds for returning it to get a new instinct. The rant does have alot of problems like mine but most are more severe, but the sprint people dont know how bad my phone is messing up. So can anyone help me in what i should do or say to get them to let me get a different phone and return the rant. I will pay for the instinct but im not gonna pay the full amount, i will pay what it would be if i got a new contract or an upgrade.Samsung rant return help me change my phone?

Oh! Definatly the SCP-2700! I just got it today and it definately ROCKS! If ur a girl around 11- 21 or any age you will love it! Its pink and has hot pink flowers! The blue one doesnt have flowers though. Whenevr you move it like if you go to menu or something it has this cool clicky sound! Internet rocks if you can use it. Oh dont even get me started with the texting! Its fun and easy! Pictures have very good quality! My grandma and my cuzin has the rant and I dont think its very pretty! I think its old lady-ish! Sure texting is easy wit the rant but it takes horrible pictures and calls drop. Get SCP-2700. Its much much much better!

The rant! when i worked for sprint we would have people daily coming in with their rumors with numerous problems such as a blank screen, or the phone shuting down by itself....they were recalled when they were first launched last december because of software issues and im guessing they didnt fix it:) also, even though they call the rumor an ';mp3 phone'; it cant support sprint music so you either have to download it off a computer which will cost extra for the cable or sd card to do so, and then you would have to buy songs from a different source. so please take my advice and go with the rant:) hope i helped!What phone should i get? I think it looks like a really cool and fun phone, but it seems a little bulky. Some people like the idea of a bulky phone because they're sturdier and not as easily lost (because of the size). I think it's kind of a tomboy phone, but as long as it lets you text, call, or whatever else, then it's a keeper. %26lt;3 Cara

My first choice would be the exclaim: this phone is aswome its the newst additon to the sprint line. it has a 2mp camera and also can be used as a camcoder it also just came out in sliver at radio shack. It is a dual silder so way less chance a doin radom stuff on is own. very big clear screen and takes great pics. the sceern is so big and clear its seems like its touch screen or at least like its supposed to be but its not. also has sprints one click
Next i would go for the lg lotus.
my friend had this and at first glance it looks very confusing but after a while u get used to it. it alo takes very good pipcs with its 2mp camera.
my friend that had it didnt like it nut she likes phones like the plam centros and now has a blackberry curve. but that is just a persnaol choice it also has sprints one click and is a flip phone with a full qwerty keybard and is very slim so if u want a slim phone with a full qwerty go with this. it also has a big screen but no where as close to the exclaim hope i helped.

It is a dual silder so way less chance a doin radom stuff on is own. very big clear screen and takes great pics. the sceern is so big and clear its seems like its touch screen or at least like its supposed to be but its not. also has sprints one click
Next i would go for the lg lotus.
my friend had this and at first glance it looks very confusing but after a while u get used to it. it alo takes very good pipcs with its 2mp camera.
my friend that had it didnt like it nut she likes phones like the plam centros and now has a blackberry curve. but that is just a persnaol choice it also has sprints one click and is a flip phone with a full qwerty keybard and is very slim so if u want a slim phone with a full qwerty go with this. it also has a big screen but no where as close to the exclaim hope i helped.

Then a few months later my keyboard was completely DEAD! it did not work one bit, so i waited for my plan to be up and got the rant. Ive had the rant for a few weeks now and its an overrall good phone... it freezes sometimes but only for a few seconds. I like the rant better. Brand new cell phone problems..Samsung Rant...Memory?
I just got my new phone 2 days ago. This morning I am trying to download a ringtone. When it says ';downloading'; it never does, then says ';Entering Sprint Service Area';..it already is in the area and I have full service. So then I get on the internet and it won't let me view pages, says ';insufficient memory, cannot view complete page';...WTF??? This is a brand new phone. I don't have anything on it. I looked at the mass storage and I've barely used any of the memory. It has a 512 MB micro sd card in it. I called Sprint, but they are NO help. Does anyone know what is going on? I'm getting pissed here. My other phone I was using only had 32mb memory card and I never had this problem and it was almost full! You just open the folder say your texting uhmm Sarah? Lol. So you just open the folder of ';Sarah'; %26amp; it'll say you said this she said that you said this she said that. You can also hook your email up to your phone and just click on messaging and it'll say how many emails you have along with text messages. I love it.
The con's are that it freezes up alot. But it still doesn't like just crash.
So, as you can see, The rant has alot of pro's and barely any con's. :)

Stay away from the Moto Q they are junk after replacing 2 of them for problems in the hardware i went with the rant and I'm well satisifed. The Lotus is nice but the rant dose the same stuff 100.00 cheaper. I was tempted by the Blackberry curve, However the overall size of it is not comfortable in my hand and the keyboard is a little difficult to use. the Rant has a well laid out key board and I find it really fast to text with. It is all a matter of personal taste. Go to the sprint store and play with them to see what you like. Wait about little less then two weeks and get the motoQ11 it will have wifi at affordable price and a moto is a really good phone and you can use a 16gb micro memory card from sandisk for 99 bucks and can even except a card up to 32gb but there in the works for the card its really good texting to and really good media check out the specs on the Q compared to other phones .And the moto Q11 has a 3 miga pixell cameraoil industry

Wait about little less then two weeks and get the motoQ11 it will have wifi at affordable price and a moto is a really good phone and you can use a 16gb micro memory card from sandisk for 99 bucks and can even except a card up to 32gb but there in the works for the card its really good texting to and really good media check out the specs on the Q compared to other phones .And the moto Q11 has a 3 miga pixell camera

when i send a text on my rant, theres no possible way to see what i said. so if someone takes 5 min to text back i forgot what i said most of the time. and it never stops vibrating if i get just 1 text. it takes really good pictures tho. but the battery life sucks! the rumor 2 is like the compleat opposite of that. exept idk what kinda pictures the rumor takes because i had it for 20 min, then i dropped it in a lake.. hahahaWhich cell phone is best? Well... I'm getting a new phone so I went online to Sprint.com... And I saw the Rant. It was okay... But once I saw the Exclaim, I FEEL IN LOVE!!! I'm getting it.
I have a samsung rant and i want to know how to watch the videos i made with my phone on my computer?
I believe the Samsung comes with software for transferring videos and photos to your computer. From there, you'll need to convert the video to a file that can be viewed on your computer (e.g. Quicktime uses .mov or .mp4 and Windows Media Player uses .wmv).
There are some free video converters that are fairly basic, but be careful about browser toolbars they try to install along with the converter. I think that's how they make their money, but that's a good way to infect your computer with adware or malware viruses.

Samsung rant or lg neon cell phone?
i will be getting my first phone in a few days, and i still can't decide which of these cell phones i want.
can anyone tell me the pros or cons of either one of these phones? which is better quality and will last longer?
and is it true that these phones freeze, because i have heard bad things about both of them, but i'm not sure they're true.

hey. First of all the samsung rant doesnt have that video function that you see on phones today. It looks really cool and it has the pda look to it but its not that bad. The LG neon is similair to its bigger sister the lg xexon. The both have a slide out keyboard and have a touch screen.The lg neon touch screen is only for the dailing pad..the rest of the phone has to be used by the buttons on the bottom of the screen. A pro to the lg neon is that the keyboard is perfect and spaced out good.....a con is that the battery life isnt all that great. Another con is that it isnt 3g it E which makes it freeze and run slower some times. Over all i dont recomend the LG neon...because you will have problems in the future with the freezing that will get worse as the phone gets older. The samsung rant is better the battery life is better and it has more stuff that the neon....go with the rant if your willing to give up the video function...if not go with the samsung impression. O and btw the samsung rant will last longer

I have a red samsung rant and lately it has been acting up, first the downloaded messenger that is in it when u purchuse it does not work anymore it freezes the phone up. How to fix that? second this is the big problem. it will delelte all my messages when t he inbox isnt full yet, and it will say 0/0 messages, it allows me to send messages but in a wierd format and when i recieve them it says not enough memory message denied and the inbox is empty, then a few hours later i will recieve them. how to fix? i have tried turning off my phone and turning it back on, leaving the battery out for 5 min, and deleting all the stuff thats saved on the phone (not the memory card though) please help! fast!! much apperciated! thankyouHelp with my cell phone ((samsung rant))?

i would go with the rant because it seems slightly bigger but i honestly think you should go to a sprint store and actually TRY them out for feel so that you don't make a mistake. i had to do that when choosing on phones. it is just the way it works. So, go and ask to see them or if they have them on display just try typing: the quick brown fox jumped over the lazy sheep dog. then which ever one you found easier to type on or made the fewest mistake or you preferred more get it. just remember either way you get a good phone.

New cell phone. the rant by sprint help?
i just got my new phone the rant by sprint. i got it activated yesterday. it seems to be really slow for me. when i text i get them really slow and my battery seems to go fast. and the service is kinda slow too. my old phone(rumor by sprint) was perfectly fine with text and service. i paid 50 bucks for it. and i hardly get service and when someone texts me i wont get it till like 30 min later. please help me. when i activated it the lady said it would be an hour before it would start working good, but its been a day, please help me thank uNew cell phone. the rant by sprint help?

i've just dealt with my problem. In my case, the microSD card slot was kinda loose. You could try my way: take out your battery and your SD card. there should be 2 thin metal pieces in the SD slot. use a thin ruler or toothpick and slightly push the shorter metal piece inwards (towards the slot). Hello, I uploaded a video from my sprint rant cell phone to youtube. How do I put it on windows media player?
I read information on the web about a codec. I went to vixy.net to convert my video to AVI. However my windows media player did not accept it. I downloaded some other stuff G-sport (I believe) when I downloaded that my video was able to be viewed on my windows media player HOWEVER IT HAD NO AUDIO. I'm confused and do not know what to do. Please Help. I'm not a computer geek but I know a little something here n there. lol.

My friend has the Rant, and it has more features and generally seems like a better phone.
Of course, I've never had a problem with a Samsung phone before (Rant), so I'd recommend that right off the bat, but LG does make a few okay phones.What phone is better the lg rumor, or the rant. There both from sprint?

My friend has the Rant, and it has more features and generally seems like a better phone.
Of course, I've never had a problem with a Samsung phone before (Rant), so I'd recommend that right off the bat, but LG does make a few okay phones.What phone is better the lg rumor, or the rant. There both from sprint?
I have the rumor and it is way better. I have not had any problems with it at all, and it also looks like its more expensive.

slow! whats wrong? it freezes all the time, and is always on 1 bar or flashing red. i only charge it on the computer. is that why? i also was wondering if you can change he front cover as Well as the back. my friend said that you can bring it into the store and someone will fix it up. i think it is true, because my front cover can lift up slightly. thanks in advance! Well, with my camera the battery kept doing it.. it be on full 4 like 3 minutes then next thing i know its dead.. it turned out i had a ';defective'; battery, its when something went wrong with it while it was being made... if you return it to the stre you gotr it they'll most likely give you a new one and that'll porbably work fine :)

What you have to do is take the Mini SD card out of the slot (behind the battery cover) and Put it in the included adapter... once it come up open the folder.... I want a messaging phone, but i just can't decide between the rant and rumor2. i'll list the features below

It's horrible... the Samsung Rant is the worse. I forgot to look at customer reviews before I bought the phone. It is so problematic. It freezes on everything you do. is very slow and dies extremely fast no matter how long you charge it, I do not recommend this phone at all. Please do take time to look up the customer reviews online.

ALL current models suffer severe issue with lock-ups, to the point where we are refusing to replace customers phones because any replacement we send will have the same fault, and the wonderful C902 heats up so badly the metal keypad can actually cause damage. Super, eh?). Any of the nokia N-series, and definitely the Nokia 6500 should be avoided. The Samsung Omnia (i-900) also has a lot of issues.
One of the few I would actually recommend is the LG Secret. I've only ever had one reported faulty and they eventually admitted they'd dropped it in the toilet XD Some of the slightly older samsungs are okay (G600, u600, U900 soul) though there are some technical issues with them,
Also if you decide to go with 02 the I-phone is suprisingly decent. It's reliable and what it does it does very well, but it's lacking a few features (like video for example) but the downside is 02 customer service is terrible. Oh, and don't get anything on the 3 network. You'll only get decent coverage in about 10% of the country (assuming your in the UK lol)
The only recommendation I can really give is, whatever you do, GET INSURANCE! Outside 6 months if the phone goes faulty you won't get a replacement even if you haven't done anything wrong to it.
